Seasonal Context
Astronomically, the winter solstice marks the official start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere, which lasts until the March equinox. Meteorological winter, by contrast, begins on December 1 and is based on average temperatures rather than the Sun's position CalendarDate.com. In the Southern Hemisphere, astronomical winter begins with the June solstice and ends with the September equinox
This 2-3 mile cliff top walk will serve as a time to embrace the wonderful sea and calm of the clifftops, whilst taking in the fabulous sunset and moonrise.
Join us for this fabulous moonlight clifftop walk as the moon rises over the sea, and the sun sets over the Dodman.

Join Jo for a speedy walk around Stalybridge!
This 90 minute session takes advantage of the routes in Stalybridge Country Park and the surrounding countryside. Who knows what Jo will throw in to the bucket of fun stuff to do! It will be a session with hills, to get those legs & bums working! Walk away with the biggest smile of satisfaction!
This is a speedy walk, so we ask that you only book if you can maintain a steady pace of at least 3mph

Description of the Walk: From the car park the WALX Guide will take you through the beautiful ever-changing woodland. The walk can be muddy when wet and in the winter months, please be prepared with good footwear for this walk. Approximately 1.5-2 miles.

Head/chest torch and hi-vis clothing are a must. Your light must be sufficient to light your way. Speak to Jane if you need any advice (she has a few hi-vis vests she can lend out, but you must let her know in advance)
